1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the ALFA REMODELING Android application (the “App”) handles information. The App is provided for ALFA REMODELING LLC in the United States and uses package name com.alfa.remodeling.home.project.app.
2. Information entered in the App
The App allows you to enter information for local remodeling planning, such as a name, email address, phone number, city, state, ZIP code, preferred project date, budget range, project scope, and private support notes. This information is used only to provide the local features you requested inside the App.
3. Information collected automatically
The App does not include analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, account authentication, or a custom network backend. It does not automatically collect location, contacts, photos, microphone data, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or payment information.
4. Local data storage
Project requests, saved services, saved inspiration concepts, saved material references, design briefs, project-roadmap progress, settings, in-app notification states, and support notes are stored locally on your device using Android application preferences. Application backup is disabled in the manifest so the App does not intentionally place this local data into Android application backup through its own configuration.
5. User-submitted information and email actions
Submitting a project request or support note inside the App stores that content locally. The App does not transmit those local submissions to ALFA REMODELING LLC. When you choose an email/contact action, the App opens a compatible email application using a mailto intent. Any information you then send is handled by your chosen email provider and is subject to that provider's privacy practices.
6. Permissions
The App does not request dangerous or runtime Android permissions. It does not request access to location, camera, photos, files, microphone, contacts, phone, SMS, calendar, Bluetooth, nearby devices, notifications, biometrics, or background location. The current application manifest also does not request the Android INTERNET permission.
7. Internet access
Core App features work with bundled assets and locally seeded data. Because the App does not request INTERNET permission, it does not directly make network requests. External email handling occurs only after you choose an email action and is performed by the separate application you select.
8. Third-party services
The App does not embed third-party analytics, advertising, payment, authentication, map, or cloud-storage SDKs. If you open an external email application, that separate application is not controlled by this App.
9. Images and content sources
The App bundles remodeling photography obtained for application design use and original vector illustrations/icons created for the project. Bundled third-party photography is credited in the project's ASSET_CREDITS.txt file. No image is fetched from a remote server at runtime.
11. Data retention
Locally stored data remains on the device until it is changed through App features, the App's storage is cleared in Android settings, or the App is uninstalled. Individual project requests can also be updated or cancelled inside the App.
12. Data deletion
You can remove App data by clearing the App's storage in Android system settings or uninstalling the App. Saved-item selections and locally stored project information are controlled on the device. Email messages sent through an external email provider must be managed with that provider.
13. Security
The App minimizes data exposure by keeping its planning data local and by avoiding unnecessary permissions and network SDKs. No method of local device storage can guarantee absolute protection, so you should protect access to your device using appropriate system security settings.
14. Children's privacy
The App is a home-remodeling planning utility and is not directed to children. The App does not knowingly create child profiles or intentionally collect children's personal information through a backend service.
15. User choices
You can choose what optional information to enter, which services, materials, or concepts to save, whether to use local support notes, whether to open an external email application, and which regional/accessibility preferences to keep.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the App's functionality, dependencies, permissions, or data handling changes. A revised policy should accurately reflect the then-current application before release.
